Group Tours - Booking the Ships

On our vessels, members of your group can sit back, relax, and enjoy the view from the deck of a real Tall Ship. Or, for those booking for more activity, our crew is ready to press them into service to haul on the halyards and help sail the ship.

We can accommodate groups of up to 48 on the Appledore IV and 24 on the Appledore V. Limited seating is available below deck. Souvenirs and beverages are available for purchase.

If you are interested in enjoying a meal during your sail please contact us for more information.

The ships are available any time of day. We are happy to fit the sailing time to your group's itinerary. How long your group spends on the ship is entirely up to you, but a three hour minimum is required for our Bay City departures (to get the most of both the Saginaw River and Saginaw Bay).

Fall Colors

Fall colors

In October, as the leaves begin to change and the temperature starts to cool, our schooners change course as we begin our popular two-hour Bay City autumn color tour sails. Sailing upriver on the Saginaw, passengers will enjoy hot cider, chili and cornbread while keeping a sharp eye for Bald Eagles, Snowy Egrets, and of course the lovely colors. Cozy quilts available too!
