Team Building

A General Motors (GM) sail training and team building program on the Appledore.

Our team-building program combines adventure with learning. We tailor each program to suit the needs of your group. Whether it’s a group coming together for the first time or a long established team, we can develop a program to facilitate the building of productive relationships.

Do you have a large group? Why not charter both boats and race on Saginaw Bay! And it doesn't have to be all work! After your group has built up an appetite we can provide on-board catering to top off your sail.

Using the deck of the Appledore for your corporate training exercises means:

Working with our Captain to set up specific goals and target objectives.
Employees take turns working various jobs – from leader to team member.
Reaping the benefits of a high impact experience, which makes one of the best learning environments.
Leaving the competition in your wake!

Captains & Crew:

Our Captains are licensed by the Coast Guard and our schooners are subject to annual Coast Guard inspections. The Captain will work closely with you to create the perfect outing; one that will be truly memorable and fun, and, of course, ensure that everyone will have the chance to participate in sailing!
